The beachfront lodge is a 2 story complex with 5 individual rooms, and shared living area. Each room has its own private ensuite, television, fridge and tea and coffee making facilities. Shared communal living area, including wide shaded deck with views over Albatross Bay. Guests staying at the lodge have the option of having their own private chef, with full meal packages available (breakfast and dinner, with entrée and dessert) – advance bookings are essential for this service and price is available on request (see below for images). Please note the beachfront lodge does have a kitchen, but it is a chef’s kitchen for the exclusive use of a chef cooking for those guests who book the meal package. Guests can not use the kitchen facilities.

However, lodge guests are welcome to make use of all of our other facilities, including the camp kitchen, swimming pool, playground, coin laundry, on-site café and tour advice and booking service. Weipa, like other Cape York destinations, can get very busy during peak seasons (May to August) and school holidays. Our lodge often books-out months in advance.
